Empowering Families: Assistive Technology Solutions for Supporting Parents and Children Through Grief, Transition, Crisis, and Recovery

This session explored practical ways to integrate assistive technology (AT) tools to help families navigate challenging times while conserving their emotional and physical "spoons." Participants discovered strategies to support children with disabilities, manage busy schedules, foster emotional regulation, and promote self-care. Emphasis was placed on accessible and affordable solutions to empower families, helping them balance their energy and resources effectively.
