Award of Excellence

The 2018 Award of Excellence was presented to Eileen Mullen-Kennedy in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the practice and promotion of infant mental health in New Hampshire. Eileen Mullen-Kennedy has been a long standing and fierce advocate for the children and their caregivers throughout New Hampshire and has made it her life work. She has demonstrated that throughout her 37 year career with the Division for Children, Youth and Families and will continue to do so in her new role within the Department of Health and Human Services as Administrator of Prevention.

What is the Award of Excellence?
This award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions towards improving the field of infant mental health. Examples of such contributions might include academic or clinical work that improves or increases existing knowledge in the field, promotes advocacy or system building within the field, the enhancement of workforce development, articles/books published and/or other activities that further the mission of NHAIMH.

Nominations:
Nominations may only be made by a NHAIMH member. Nominees do not need to be a NHAIMH member.

Award:
In addition to recognition at our Annual Meeting, the recipient will receive a $250.00 award ($125.00 for their personal use and $125.00 to be designated to an organization of their choice).
